- Get on the treadmill (or equivalent exercise) daily
- Pace is fine at 30 min/mile, although I may up it on occasion
- Time range between 30 minutes and 1 hour per day
- Distance 1-2 miles per day
- Read the chosen book, which I won’t allow myself to read outside of my treadmill time, hopefully motivating me to reach or exceed the above goals (exception…at the end of the week where a book is highlighted, I will finish it off-treadmill so I can feature something new the next week)

What I’m Reading
Note: Although I will try to avoid them, my weekly reading snippets may or may not contain spoilers, so read at your own risk.
What I #amreading: The Magician Murders (Art of Murder 3) by Josh Lanyon
My favorite lines this week:
✿✿ SUNDAY ✿✿
Funny thing. Jason had never been a guy for handholding, so it was a revelation how comforting Sam’s touch was.
✿✿ MONDAY ✿✿
“Adele! Esme! Remy!” The woman scooping up the fluff balls one by one was probably in her sixties. She was short and trim with spiky brown hair. She wore an oversize blue denim shirt, skinny jeans, and red cowboy boots. She looked about as likely to have produced BAU Chief Sam Kennedy as a scallop shell was likely to serve up the goddess of love.
✿✿ TUESDAY ✿✿
The killer poodles were falling over each other in their effort to keep him ringed and at bay. With a mutter of exasperation, Ruby scooped all three of them up and tossed them into what appeared to be a laundry room off the kitchen. She closed the door on their outraged protests.
✿✿ WEDNESDAY ✿✿
It had been nearly noon by the time Sam returned from town. As well as several bags of groceries, he’d picked up a couple of sweatshirts and a flannel shirt for Jason. That was classic Sam. He was not a guy for candy hearts and valentines, but he knew Jason had only packed for a weekend, so Sam bought him things he felt would make Jasons stay easier, more comfortable.
✿✿ THURSDAY ✿✿
“That’s great,” Sam had said. Also several times. “But the first thing Dreyfus did was phone you. If that kid was any greener, she’d be a Martian.”
✿✿ FRIDAY ✿✿
He woke to the warm pressure of Sam’s mouth moving on his.
Jason had dreamed of misunderstandings and arguments and goodbyes, so it was a relief to wake to sweet and coaxing kisses.
✿✿ SATURDAY ✿✿
But the fact that he was talking and not killing them—that was a big point in his favor.
