I’m so excited to share my shiny new cover and a release date for The Best-Laid Plans. I’ve previously reported that my novella would be out in June, but I now know the specific date is Saturday, June 1. 🎉

As mentioned above, the upcoming release follows a short story/novelette that came out last year in mid-April. The Contingency Plan is a simple, light fantasy, how-they-met with some mild angst where the reader is left able to imagine the fair princes heading out into a fairytale happily ever after. Alas, that HEA gets sidetracked (temporarily, I assure you!) with the new book’s drama on their journey home.

I’ve included enough information in book 2 so anyone who reads it without first reading book 1 shouldn’t be completely lost, but I feel it will be best appreciated and understood if you’ve first read this story…
