Flash Fiction: There isn’t a standard specific definition for this term beyond “short”, but for the purposes of this “Flash Fiction Friday” post it will mean a precisely 100-word story scene written from a photo prompt.
This week got my photo inspiration image from the good folks at Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. FFfAW is a weekly blog hop, and you can check out the other posts for the week of 5/17-5/23/2016 by clicking on the blue froggy button.
Today’s prompt picture is:

This image worked well for another installment in Adventures with Harrison and Mason (Click the corresponding category for more of their stories).
“Hey, Harrison. Do you suppose they’re taking that dinosaur to Jurassic World?” Mason asked.
Harrison did a double take at the uHaul trailer and rolled his eyes. Jaxon, the true target of Mason’s comment perked up in the backseat.
“There’s a dinosaur in there?” Jaxon’s narrowed eyes turned toward Harrison. “Daddy, is Pop making that up?”
Mason cast a glance at Harrison, silently imploring his husband to play along.
Harrison grimaced. “Uh, what do you think, Jaxon?”
“Well, we can pretend, anyway,” Jaxon replied. “So, do you think Owen caught it himself, Daddy?”
Harrison grinned. “I’ll bet he probably did.”
Very cute story! I’m just a little confused. Who is Owen? Welcome! Thank you for participating in the FFfAW challenge!
Thanks! Owen is the name of the character who is the hero of the Jurassic World movie. 🙂
Oh! LOL! Thank you for the explanation!
They are helping build his imagination 🙂
Yes, they’re trying! 😉
