I’ve got a little Flash Fiction Friday thing I’m doing. While there isn’t a standard specific definition for this term beyond “extremely short”, for the purposes of my “Flash Fiction Friday” posts it will mean a precisely 100-word story scene written from a photo prompt.
Each Friday, I will post a preview of the image I’ll be using for my bit of flash the following Friday. If you’d like to join me in a link-around, then let’s play by these rules for now:
(1) Schedule your post in advance to go live at approximately midnight CDT on the designated Friday .
(2) Add the link to your scheduled post in the comments section of the preview post.
(3) Link to the preview post, directing your readers to the comments, so they can check out the other bits of flash.
I’m not going to close the comments after any particular time, so if anyody wants to jump in late, that’s fine. The “rules” are simply to offer maximum benefit/exposure to the participants. I am open to suggestions. Happy writing! 🙂
