✨ Character Interview ✨
NAME OF CHARACTER: Vic D’Amato
Q: What impression do you make on people when they first meet you?
A: I’m a homicide detective, so that tends to make people nervous. I suspect I still come off like a cop even when I’m off duty.
Q: How about after they’ve known you for a while?
A: I come from a large family with a lot of brothers, so I know how to have a good time.
Q: Tell me about your best friend.
A: My best non-romantic friend is my work partner, Ross. He puts up with all the crazy supernatural stuff and always comes through.
Q: Describe your ideal mate.
A. I just married him! Simon has a big heart but he’s also super smart. He knows how to have fun, but he can also enjoy being low-key. We balance each other.
Q: What’s the most important thing in your life?
A: My family and friends. I come from a big family and we are very close.
Q: Your thoughts on love?
A: Life is uncertain. Love hard.
Q: Favorite food
A: Pasta. I come from a big Italian family and nothing beats my mom’s homemade sauce!
Q: What would you consider your perfect night out?
A: Being able to do whatever we planned without getting called in to work.
Q: What was your first thought or impression when you met the person you fell in love with?
A: We didn’t have the best start because I was very skeptical about Simon’s abilities being real. He won me over!
Q: What do you like most about the person you fell in love with?
A: Simon loves fiercely and he’s very loyal. He’s smart and talented and he isn’t cynical.
Q: What would you change about yourself?
A: This job can make a person hard. I want to be more like SImon.

Simon and Vic’s wedding is just a few weeks away, and they’re hoping for a little peace and quiet to wrap up work before their honeymoon, but nothing ever goes that smoothly.
Strange circumstances around the death of a retired stage magician suggest supernatural involvement, bringing Simon in on the case. The dark secrets of a long-ago resort hotel lead to a trail of unsolved cold cases that have a chilling similarity. Old scandals, malicious magic, and vengeful spirits expose a web of lies, deceit, and death that is headed for a reckoning.
Can Simon and Vic solve the murders, stop the ghosts, keep Simon’s mother from crashing the party, dodge last-minute wedding disasters, and still make it to the altar on time? Or will the shadows of Myrtle Beach’s haunted past ruin everything?
Point Blank is a fast-paced thrill ride MM paranormal romance packed with supernatural suspense, sinister sleight-of-hand, mysterious monsters, psychic visions, hot men, hurt/comfort, loyal friends, wedding planning, found family, ghosts galore, dark magic, and an evolving, established romantic relationship with all the feels.
