I’ve got a little Flash Fiction Friday thing I’m doing. While there isn’t a standard specific definition for this term beyond “extremely short”, for the purposes of my “Flash Fiction Friday” posts it will mean a precisely 100-word story scene (aka “Drabble”) written from a photo prompt.
Each Friday, I will post a preview of the image I’ll be using for my bit of flash the following Friday. If you’d like to join me in a link-around, then let’s play by these rules for now:
(1) Schedule your post in advance to go live at approximately midnight CDT on the designated Friday (the signup won’t actually close until the end of the day on that Friday, but to maximize your exposure, it’s recommended that your post be live at the beginning of the day).
(2) Get the appropriate html code (the code for the image shown below can be found here: http://www.linkytools.com/get_bloghop_code.aspx?id=271044&type=thumbnail) and insert it in your Flash Fiction Friday blog post (or otherwise link to http://www.linkytools.com/wordpress_list.aspx?id=271044&type=thumbnail if scripts won’t work on your site).
(3) Add the permalink of your scheduled post (based on the image below) here: http://www.linkytools.com/wordpress_list.aspx?id=271044&type=thumbnail.
Happy writing! 🙂
