Treadmill Week 60 & What I #amreading

Treadmill Goals:

  • Get on the treadmill (or equivalent exercise) daily
  • Pace is fine at 30 min/mile, although I may up it on occasion
  • Time range between 30 minutes and 1 hour per day
  • Distance 1-2 miles per day
  • Read the chosen book, which I won’t allow myself to read outside of my treadmill time, hopefully motivating me to reach or exceed the above goals (exception…at the end of the week where a book is highlighted, I will finish it off-treadmill so I can feature something new the next week)

Note: Although I will try to avoid them, my weekly #amreading updates may or may not contain spoilers, so read at your own risk.

What I #amreading: Sweet and Sexy Box Set by Jeff Adams

My favorite lines this week:

29754727✿✿ SUNDAY ✿✿

From Adventures of Jake #1

The costume’s underwear was designed to keep private bits hidden at all costs. If you got the least bit aroused it could be quite painful. Park visitors were never the wiser, but the E-Force team long ago recognized why some team members looked pained.

✿✿ MONDAY ✿✿

From Adventures of Jake #1

“Dude, I’m just a guy looking for a good guy to date and then see what happens.”

✿✿ TUESDAY ✿✿

From Rivals

“So besides work and some hockey, what do you do for fun? Girlfriend in the picture?”

He worked to keep a straight face before a soft laugh took over. “Is your gaydar that weak?”

✿✿ WEDNESDAY ✿✿

From Rivals

Alex was leaning against the side of his car as I came out of the airport, bags in hand. He leapt forward when he saw me and grabbed the hockey bag. “Hey you,” he said, kissing me. I was happy to kiss right back.

✿✿ THURSDAY ✿✿

From Heat Wave: Tuscaloosa

It wasn’t supposed to be a million degrees at on in the morning. Okay, it was eighty-seven, but if felt like a million.

✿✿ FRIDAY ✿✿

From Heat Wave: Tuscaloosa

I shook my head. “No. Closest I’ve been to a farm is when my family  took me out to one of those self-pick apple orchards. I’m sure there were horses around Seattle somewhere, but I never saw them.

✿✿ SATURDAY ✿✿

From Heat Wave: Tuscaloosa

The flickering light made Marcus’ green eyes sparkle in a way I hadn’t seen before. I made a mental note to buy candles because I wanted to see his eyes like that more often.
